The Pine Ridge School Board is the governing body of elected representatives working closely with educators, administrators, parents/guardians, and community members to educate the Lakota nation’s youth. The school board helps prepare students for academic achievement, graduation, and career readiness. Students benefit from comprehensive and measured education programs that enhance the learning process and improve overall success rates.

Lakota community members communicate and cooperate with the school board to ensure the development and advancement of all Pine Ridge School students. Citizens stay engaged with the school board by attending and participating in public forums where they can share valuable ideas, insights, feedback, and suggestions. School board members strive to integrate learning initiatives that incorporate Lakota values, beliefs, social consciousness, and cultural identity.
